Mallory is a devoted educator who truly believes that a strong collaboration between administration, teachers, and parents can help children grow and achieve to their fullest potential. Mallory is dedicated to helping teachers find effective and sustainable methods to improve their children’s literacy skills and is committed to using research based instructional strategies and best practices.
Prior to working with Step by Step Learning, Mallory was a classroom teacher in Atlanta, Georgia and worked to build sustainable instructional techniques. Her experience as a classroom teacher and instructional support coordinator allowed her to assist teachers in creating a curriculum that was data-based and tailored to their classrooms’ unique needs.
Mallory believes in lifelong learning and ongoing professional growth. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from Penn State University and a Master of Education degree in Special Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
Mallory enjoys being back in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and loves to explore the city’s growing neighborhoods and events. She enjoys musicals, concerts, sporting events, and activities that allow her to spend more time with her family. Mallory is also an avid long-distance runner and former coach, who appreciates challenging herself whenever possible.
