With over 20 years of experience in the field of education, Pam is committed to continued personal and professional growth, positively impacting classroom instructional practices to improve student achievement.
Prior to joining Step By Step Learning, Pam was a classroom teacher at Lawrence County Head Start and a Director at ABC Corral Child Development Center in Youngstown, Ohio. She is also an adjunct professor at Slippery Rock University. Her experiences working for Compass Learning, an educational software company, help her as she creates customized plans for schools and districts, helping them assess data to determine the best course of action for every student using research-based instruction.
Pam is a Senior Educational Consultant working with Step By Step Learning since 2007. She has been working directly in classrooms with teachers to help accelerate all students to reading at their respective grade level. Pam truly believes that all kids need to be taught to read to grade level because it is the foundation of their futures.
She earned a BS and MS in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University, has her Elementary and Early Childhood Certifications, and has done post-graduate work at Capella University.
When Pam isn’t working with teachers to improve students’ literacy skills, she enjoys spending time with family, reading research and fiction books (her favorite genre is mystery books), and riding motorcycles with her husband.
