Pam has spent a lifetime sharing her passion for education with her students. She taught first grade for 33 years and loved every day she spent in the classroom. She was a 3 time recipient of a Kid Care award in her district and was nominated for the Disney Outstanding Teacher award where she competed to a semi-final level. She was an active member of the Reading Committee in her district and was responsible for leading several new reading initiatives. In 2008, Pam was selected to become an elementary Literacy Coach and provided professional development in all areas of reading instruction and promoted the use of best practices in reading in the classroom. Pam retired in 2013, but realized that she still had much to offer to the field of education. Pam enjoys her work as a consultant because she has learned through personal experience that promoting positive change is in the team and not through a single person.
In addition to her passion for education, Pam is a proud wife and mother. Her daughter is a law student and has been accepted into an internship program with the United States Attorney’s Office. Pam also loves her “furry son” who is a 90 pound Doberman with a very loving personality. She is an active member of her church and community. Pam and her husband enjoy travelling together and spending time with their family.
